I wanted to mark a location I flew over, so I used the option to create a user defined waypoint.
That was simple....
I then wanted to have that waypoint available on my Skydemon Plan (on my Win 11 laptop).
I couldn't figure out how to get the waypoint onto PC plan so had to ask the Skydemon helpdesk.
As usual, a quick response.
However, the process is very "clunky" and took approximately 10 separate actions to get the waypoint "synced" to SD plan.
Could this be an area for future improvement to make the waypoint "sync" operation more user friendly?
Thanks
Tony

I see, so the issue is specific to waypoints that you drop in flight. We can't make that folder eligible for syncing because otherwise in all likelihood you'd end up losing waypoints when you then used a different device to drop waypoints, then synced from that one.

As I said, if you have ideas...

Hi Tim,
Thank for the reply.
Obviously I am not familiar with the internal workings/design of SD, but could dropped user defined way points be attached to "my" aircraft configuration file?
That is accessible all the time be it from the mobile device used when flying or one's SD Plan.
The normal "sync to cloud"/"load from cloud" should work?
Or, even possibly, have a separate "category" of user settings (user waypoints) that are used to store user defined way points.  Those settings get stored to the SD cloud for retrieval when required?
Maybe not possible or too complex?
Regards Tony
